Welcome to Mr. Chapman's Social Studies Page at Athens High School.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my homepage. The purpose of this page is to increase student and parental awareness of activities occurring in the classroom, and to facilitate the exchange of resources to enhance student learning. As of now, I am currently maintaining an additional site for my classes at my Google website. This is much more detailed in its vision of what is occurring in the classroom. I would encourage you to look there to find materials for class, key dates and other such considerations.
This site is organized in large part with the standard Athens City Schools format. The "Class Links" at left will help you navigate through the various course pages in my website. As a heads up, many of these may appear to be lacking up to date information; please be sure to visit my Google Site for more timely updates. The other links are important school and district pages that are updated from the main office for all students at Athens High School. If you have any suggestions for any additions, don't hesitate to let me know.
Should you wish to contact me, I can be reached via email at markchapman@athenscity.k12.oh.us (please note that my email address is different than many in the district, containing my entire first name rather than simply a first initial). If you do not receive a response within a couple of days, please try to contact me again for fear that I did not receive the message. I am usually very timely with my responses, so a lack of a return email is usually a sign that I did not get your original message.
